Position: Full Time – Commercial Lines Account Executive

Location:

  • Hackettstown, NJ

Who We Are:

Established in 1919, with a staff of over 110 members.  One of the top insurance agencies in the country. Representing 37 contracted insurance companies and over 90 specialty markets.

Our AE is the first service contact for our clients. You will work with clients to manage their
renewals and provide day-to-day service. The ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE will be customer service driven
and be knowledgeable of commercial insurance coverage, conversant in contract and certificate
language, able to answer questions and discuss coverage with clients and underwriters.

Our Commercial Insurance Account Executive will:

  • Manage new business placements and renewals, procuring information from members to market and place accounts.
  • Proactively review client files and obtain updated information necessary for renewals; prepare applications and market accounts as necessary; monitor insurers for timely delivery of renewal proposals; prepare and present comparative executive summary to client; electronically distribute renewal COIs to certificate holders; and review policies for accuracy once received.
  • Provide day-to-day service fulfillment which includes answer phones, prepare binders and certificates requested, order change endorsements, issue auto ID cards, and track progress, as necessary.
  • Complete applications via phone; submit applications to multiple carriers; receive proposals and present comparison to clients; submit bind orders per client request; issue binders, COIs, and auto ID cards and market program to new members or target member groups when requested.
  • Assist with development of marketing materials and strategies, design and prepare management reports, and save all correspondence and documents to client’s files.

Do our requirements match YOUR background?

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a licensed commercial business insurance professional.
  • Must have a Producers License- Commercial P & C Insurance.
  • Excellent skills and proficiency in MS Excel and Word and Agency Management programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong customer service, organization, and attention to details skills.
  • Self-management and project management abilities.

Position: Full Time – Commercial Lines Account Executive Assistant

Location:

  • Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Who We Are:

Established in 1919, with a staff of over 110 members.  One of the top insurance agencies in the country. Representing 37 contracted insurance companies and over 90 specialty markets. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary function of our commercial lines account assistant is assist the account executive in
handling their book of accounts.

The normal day to day functions may include (but not limited to):

  1. Assist in the issuance of proofs of insurance (binders, certificates of insurance, and
    evidence of property insurance,).
  2. Follow up on pending cancellations and reinstatements in accordance with our EPIC
    procedures.
  3. Assist with service matters (phone calls, emails, etc) when the account executive is not
    available or not present in the office.
  4. Process all non-premium endorsements for the clients, including entering data into EPIC,
    making changes on the company websites and follow up on the open activities.
  5. Prepare correspondence including, cover letters, policies, binders, and ID cards as
    needed to assist the account executive.
  6. Review Expiration Clean Up sheets to make sure that any policies that should show as
    renewed are properly entered and giving back to the account executive those itmes that
    need more involvement.
  7. Run Motor Vehicle Reports.
  8. Assist with tasks and any special projects given to you by your manager.

This is a full time job and may need to be reviewed periodically to make sure that the process is
working smoothly.
